Embark on a kayak or stand up paddleboard adventure from the private dock, spend the day cycling the endless level Mathews country roads, charter a sailboat, fishing, or motorboat tour, or go birding on Bethel Beach and Haven Beach Nature Preserves. Of course, you can just spend the day right here at the Inn: rock on the porch, walk the grounds, enjoy a game of Bocce or croquet, fish or crab off the dock, or take a dip in the pool. At the end of the day, enjoy a refreshing drink while taking in a beautiful sunset over the water. The Inn is a great spot for a winter getaway too- relaxing by the fire in the library with a cup of organic tea- there's nothing like it!
You can even visit by boat! The private dock can accommodate most small craft that do not draw more than 2', and there is no additional charge for tie up if you have a reservation. The Inn also has a boat ramp, so you can tow yours up and launch.
